Development Director 

Opening: Ready to hire immediately. If this post is up, we’re still accepting applications.
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday. Flexible hours, evenings and weekends on an as-needed basis.
Salary: $70,000 – $75,000, excellent benefits
Location: Arts Council office on the Tannery Arts Center campus in Santa Cruz; regular travel to Watsonville and North County. Reliable transportation needed.
Reporting: This position reports to the Executive Director
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Development Coordinator

The job: We’re looking for a dynamic, motivated, and passionate Development Director who embraces both the heart and science behind sales. We seek someone who understands the meaningful engagement required to garner donor, investor, and corporate support, and who is fearless in reaching out, making connections, and securing the resources we need to carry out our mission. The ideal candidate will be whip-smart and a critical thinker; intuitive and authentic; warm and personable; detail-oriented and strategic. Events Coordinator

Opening: Ready to hire immediately. If this post is up, we’re still accepting applications.
Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours, based on event schedules. Generally Monday-Friday, weekends and evenings on an as-needed basis.
Salary: $40,000 – $42,000, excellent benefits
Location: Arts Council office on the Tannery Arts Center campus in Santa Cruz; regular travel to Watsonville and North County. Reliable transportation needed.
Reporting: This position reports to the Open Studios & Events Director
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

The job: We’re looking for a dynamic, organized, get-it-done person who lives, breathes, and loves all things events. This person will work with the Open Studios and Events Director and the Tannery Director to plan, execute, and/or support all Arts Council events and Tannery events and programs. Tannery Director/Arts Council Deputy Director

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday. Flexible hours, evenings and weekends on an as-needed basis.
Salary: $75,000 – $80,000, excellent benefits
Location: Arts Council office on the Tannery Arts Center campus in Santa Cruz; regular travel to Watsonville and North County. Reliable transportation needed.
Reporting: This position reports to the Executive Director
Supervisory Responsibilities: 3 Program Directors

The job: We’re looking for a passionate, warm, highly skilled executive to provide leadership and direction for the Tannery Arts Center, and to support leadership at the Arts Council. You will oversee fund development, communications, programming, and community building for the Tannery in collaboration with the Arts Council staff. You will support Arts Council program managers in finding synergies and opportunities to strengthen programs, productivity, and workflow. Grants Program Manager

Schedule: 30 hours/week. Monday-Friday. Flexible hours and weekends on an as-needed basis.
Salary: $37,000 – $40,000 for 30 hour work week, excellent benefits.
Location: Arts Council office on the Tannery Arts Center campus in Santa Cruz; regular travel to Watsonville and North County. Reliable transportation needed.
Reporting: This position reports to the Deputy Director
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

The job: We’re looking for a highly passionate and skilled Grants Program Manager – someone with a heart for the arts, a passion for equity, data-wonk-ish tendencies, and the capacity to administer grants. The successful candidate will manage and implement the Council’s Grants Program. The Grants Program Manager also develops and coordinates capacity-building initiatives in coordination with other Council staff and partners. Perhaps the most critical component of this position is nurturing strong and healthy relationships with organizations and artists countywide, and particularly fostering new relationships in South County.
