BOXTALES brings myths and folktales from around the world to young audiences using masks, movement, music, and storytelling.
Our aim is to fire imaginations, inspire creativity, strengthen cultural pride, encourage tolerance, and engage young people in the excitement and immediacy of live performance.

Boxtales school shows are the same, high quality, material we perform in major theatres, only edited to fit the 40 minute assembly format. We even bring in some stage lighting to transform your cafetorium into a dramatic, theatrical experience. All Boxtales shows are crafted with the California Department of Education content standards in mind, covering English Language Arts, Word Analysis, Vocabulary Development and Literary Response and analysis.

All Boxtales shows are crafted with the California Department of Education California Content Standards for the Visual and Performing Arts, English Language Arts, Word Analysis, Vocabulary Development and Literary Response.
Teacher Guides are available for all shows to enhance curriculum learning.
All shows are pre-recorded, multi-camera shoot, and fully edited versions of live performances.
Residencies would be over a live ZOOM format.
