Nora Sarkissian holds a BA from U Mass and the Naropa Institute, an MFA from SJSU, and a certificate from the Expressive Arts Institute, at Salve Regina U. She has been working with and assisting Coeleen Kiebert, sculpture/teacher/therapist, within the context of creative process, clay process at UCSC, and home studio classes.
Nora teaches in Santa Cruz, San Jose, and Palo Alto Art Center; adult classes, children's classes, and private progressive classes. She exhibits her ceramic sculptures in Massachusetts, Santa Cruz, and other locations in and around the Bay Area.

Creative Clay
Through a variety of clay/hand building techniques and through specific lessons (including coil, slab, sculpture), we will encounter the 3-D world. Emphasis will be on your own individual creative expression. From teapot animation to figures, containers, fish in a dish, animals, and more: discover your unique style.
Appropriate for all Ages
Fees: $60 for 6 weeks

Creative Clay for Kids, ages 5-12
After School in Felton Home Studio, Outdoor Setting
This class gives hands on exposure to the world of clay, a kinesthetic experience, good for body & mind. We will learn techniques for hand building along with exercises to stir the imagination. Projects run the gamut, & can include animals, pots with animals, sea life, functional pottery, sculpture & more.
Materials, Glazing & firing will be included.
4 weeks, $60 + $20 materials fee.
